Data infrastructure project organisation

For the development of the national data infrastructure for biological and geological specimen data, an organisation structure has been set up. The project is led by Pia Stieger, Head of SwissCollNet. A Strategic Board with representatives of SwissCollNet, InfoSpecies and musnatcoll.ch is overseing the project. Expert groups for Biosciences and Geosciences (data management working groups) are supporting the project.

The construction of the data aggregator for biological and paleontological specimen data DAGI is done in an agile way in collaboration with the IT-company zebbra and overseen by the DAGI product owner group. Beta-Testers are regularly testing newly added features and functionalities.
