Organisation

SwissCollNet is a national initiative under the leadership of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT), proposed by the Federal Council in its Message on Education, Research and Innovation for 2021-2024 and approved by the Swiss Parliament. In December 2023, it has been granted a cost-neutral extension of two years until December 31, 2026.

SwissCollNet bodies

The Executive Board of SCNAT has elected and mandated a Steering Board with the overall strategic responsibilities of the initiative.

The Board of Experts is supporting the Steering Board with its technical and operational expertise. They are complemented by thematic working groups.

The Scientific Unit provides administrative support.
